The Bridge was written by Karen Kingsbury.
This was a very short and sweet read. While it did involve a love story of two estranged people the book also was about the changes in the book world. The title The Bridge nicely deals with not only the romance factor but the deeper changes in how books are being read, what this is doing to the small book store owner, and reminds us all why we love our books.
It is hard to say a lot about the story without giving too much away. It is enjoyable and predictable Kingsbury. Fans of hers will enjoy this but don't expect a lot of deep emotional tugging in this one as there has been in the past. Instead, sit back and enjoy the sweet journeys.
